There's motivating a team, and then there's going above and beyond to motivate a team. A staffer for the Ole Miss Rebels did exactly that in the run up to the Peach Bowl against Penn State.

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin confirmed the beliefs of college football fans that a staffer on the football team created a Twitter account specifically to post 'bulletin-board' material used to hype up Rebels players ahead of the school's Peach Bowl clash with Penn State.

After the game, Kiffin confirmed that Fisher Ray - an offensive assistant - created the account. Kiffin found out about it on Friday night and 'thought it was funny', according to reports from The Athletic.

The popular Twitter account 'no context college football' (@nocontextcfb) posted three screenshots this morning showing a tweet from the account @WEARE_PENNST23 that was talking down on some Ole Miss offensive linemen.

'Walking through college football HOF in ATL today and heard some of our [Penn State] players talking about how soft the Ole Miss OL has been all week. They told me they're targeting J. James and C. Warren up the middle all game long. Those poor guys,' the tweet read.

Before it was confirmed, internet sleuths noticed Kiffin retweeted and followed the burner

Someone tried re-setting the account and the email tagged in it came back to this address

It belonged to the email of Ole Miss assistant Fisher Ray - who Kiffin confirmed was behind it

It appeared to work as the players mentioned performed well in a 38-25 Ole Miss win

As a final bow to the Twitter audience, this appears to be the most recent (and Fit Smart Kapseln Stiftung Warentest final) post

Kiffin re-tweeted four of the six negative tweets about the school's offensive line and tight end Caden Prieskorn.

Internet sleuths found further evidence when someone put in a fake request to change the account's password. Twitter responds by suggesting that they should send an email to the account jf***@o******.*** - which is the same number of characters in Ray's school email account: jfray@olemiss.edu.

The account's intent to motivate the O-Line and Prieskorn may have worked a little too well. Not only did the offensive line only give up one sack, but Prieskorn had the greatest game of his college career in likely the last time he plays for the Rebels. The senior hauled in 10 catches for 136 yards and two touchdowns in a career high day.

Ole Miss easily handled the Penn State Nittany Lions 38-25 in Atlanta - with the team racking up 540 yards of total offense.

The most recent tweet was an apparent heavy wink that the jig was up when the 'burner' tweeted out after the conclusion of the game, 'Guess this account won't be needed anymore'.
